According to the study, Australian companies are worried about finding the right information technology, but more than half of project managers say it is more difficult to find qualified IT professionals compared to the pre-epidemic and raise twofold challenges in terms of attractiveness and retention in the technology sector.
The study found that non-profit healthcare services and
industries are beginning to hire more IT professionals. Long-term strategies
for investing in technology create high demand for specialized skills such as
IT security, IT management and business.
The most difficult skills to find in candidates found Robert
Half, IT security (36%), IT management (33%), business transformation (30%),
development or design (28%) and business intelligence (27%).
