Summary: Service engineers are responsible for maintaining and correcting products sold. Duties:
The normal job duties of a service engineer include: responding to customer
complaints; consider and resolve customer issues; assisting with the
installation of equipment; analyze, analyze and review results to solve the
problem the customer wants; working with technical sales engineers; offer
customer training for the product; repair, testing and maintenance of
equipment; monitor output performance; maintaining product manuals; provide
regular reports and feedback to customers on their service requests; developing
and maintaining customer relationships; report common customer complaints to
senior managers to address the situation for future reference; make
recommendations to maintenance technicians; and provides feedback on product
development, features and functions.
